At all tames man has been “inbreathing soul” in things that surrounded him in a way that made them come to life. Starting in the past with the shadowgraph and light dumb shows, this art moved for centuries to become an animated cartoon, and later on a complex computer animation.

Creation of animation is one of the main spheres of activity of the studio and it has already been creating animated films for a long time. Our work has evolved with times, which was determined by both professional and technical growth. At first the characters of films were pseudo volumetric (Scarecrow, Ears), and were made in pained stylistics. Then technology became more advanced and within the projects ordered by the Goskino state cinema organization and the RTR television channel the studio created more sophisticated characters – bears, a chicken and a dragon – characters of a serial of short films “How Animals Chase Each Other”. It was a transition to a true 3D-graphics, a genre extremely difficult and at the same time in high demand in Russia.

Western 3D animated cartoons appeal to children by its form but infuriate parents, as their moral content is meager. From the point of view of production new serials of animated cartoons (animation cycle of seven five-minute serials), made by the FirstField studio about teddy bears and their friends are on par with Western counterparts as, for example, literally every hair in the bear’s ear is neatly painted. Herewith the plot professes kindness, love, and care for close-ones that means that it was made with sole inbreathed. The stories in the present day animation must be done this way, as it is sole that makes a simple image a live one and this is the only way to make a real animation.
